Eleonora Carletti

Eleonora Carletti joined the Italian National Research Council of Italy in 1984 and currently she is the Director of the Institute of Agricultural and Earth-Moving Machinery (IMAMOTER-CNR) in Ferrara and leader of the IMAMOTER Research Group working  in the Acoustics and Vibration subject area. 

 

She developed a wide and long lasting experience, leading national and international  research projects regarding machinery noise control and occupational and environmental health and safety. Her current activity concerns the product sound quality applied to machinery. 

 

She has been an active member of the International Institute of Acoustic and Vibration (IIAV) for many years and currently she is serving IIAV as President Elect.  

 

Eleonora Carletti has been one  of the General Chairs of ICSV22, the International Congress on Sound and Vibration, held in Florence in 2015,   organized by IIAV (International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration) and AIA (Acoustical Society of Italy) in collaboration with University of Florence (DIEF) and CNR (IMAMOTER Institute). 

 

Currently she is member of the Expert Noise Group for the control of the noise emission in the environment by equipment for use outdoors at  the European Commission (DG GROWTH) and represents the National Research Council of Italy:

a) as a member of the Directive Board and of the Executive Board of the Italian National Organization for Standardization (UNI);

b) as a deputy member in the Board of International Union of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (IUTAM). 

 

She is a member of the Editorial Board of The International Journal of Occupational Safety and Ergonomics (JOSE) and of the International Journal “Archives of Acoustics”. 

 

Eleonora Carletti published some chapters of  books and more than 200 scientific papers in International Scientific Journals and Proceedings of International conferences.
