Pimenov Igor

Igor Pimenov’s scientific interests are in the field of ship and architectural acoustics, identification of noise and vibration propagation paths in engineering structures, environmental noise control, calculation of vibroacoustic effects and development of noise reduction means. Directly by Igor Pimenov or under his leadership, more than 300 civil and industrial projects were developed providing environmental impact assessment, noise and vibration control. He is the organizer and leader of advanced training courses “Vibroacoustic Measurements” and “Noise Control”, which have been carrying out at St. Petersburg State Marine Technical University since 2001. Igor Pimenov is an author of more than 150 scientific works, including more than 50 certificates for inventions in the field of measurements and noise and vibration control. He is a co-author of one monograph and 2 textbooks..
